Shelly Perdomo-Ahmed has been named vice chancellor for student affairs and campus life at the UMass Amherst. Perdomo-Ahmed holds a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies and cultural anthropology from Mount Holyoke College, as well as master’s and doctorate degrees in educational policy, research, and administration from the University of Massachusetts.
