As LSU strategy chief leaves university, strategic plan remains unfinished

Almost two years after Mark Bieger, the former vice president for strategy, came to LSU, and over 18 months since the formal planning process began, the institution’s strategic plan remains unfinished.

A nearly two-year-long planning period is unusual, especially when LSU had a dedicated strategy chief.

Nicholls State University, a small school in the University of Louisiana System, began work on their latest strategic plan during the spring semester and had it approved this summer.
