Dana R. Fisher has been appointed director of the Center for Environment, Community, and Equity at American University in Washington, D.C. Fisher holds a bachelor’s degree in East Asian studies and environmental studies from Princeton University in New Jersey and a master’s and Ph.D. in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
