The CCS Alumni Reception in Shanghai on November 26 was a statement of the powerful collaboration between CCS and its international graduates.

The event, organized by Global Strategists Maria Luisa Rossi and Vincenzo Iavicoli and assisted by the Alumni Office, was highlighted by a local alumni exhibition, curated by alumnus Jie Ji, 2020 MFA Color and Material Design, and jointly organized by alumni Haomin Wei, 2017 Photography, Kailin Wang, 2019 MFA Integrated Design, Tianze [Brian] Yu 2022 BFA Transportation Design and Yixuan [Daniel] Song 2020 BFA Transportation Design. The exhibition featured many displays, including documentaries, photos, projects, artworks, and personal collections, highlighting the impact of CCS graduates on the Chinese creative scene.

Forty-four local attendees representing a diverse range of companies such as Geely, Chery, Sonos, Hyundai Xpeng, Ford, National Geographic, Tesla, GM, Baidu, Kia, SAIC, Xiaomi, Envision Design Lab, Bythedance, Quadrobot, Jiangsu Gold, among others, underscored the widespread influence of CCS alumni across various industries.

Together with a smaller size alumni reunion in Bejing a few days before, this alumni event was the first official alumni gathering of CCS in the Asia-Pacific region since 2018. All alumni expressed their deep gratitude to CCS and appreciation for the valuable educational opportunities provided by their alma mater toward their professional careers.

The event served as a great gathering point for the alumni, fostering communication and providing a platform for collectively envisioning future possibilities.
