CSU also wasn’t impacted too much by Proposition 209 because CSU never made totally race-based decisions for admissions. Parham previously served as vice chancellor for student affairs and an adjunct faculty member at the University of California, Irvine. Proposition 209 only forced CSU to eliminate one of these factors.
