Take a multifaceted approach by creating identity and affinity centers for underserved communities such as LGBTQ+, first-gen, student veterans, and parents. I believe the Survey of Student Engagement started tracking belonging two years ago. It’s less so for some groups. They put it much higher at around 80%.
