This summer, I jumped at any chance to drive the hour and ten minutes to Holland from my hometown. I love Holland. Downtown Holland so perfectly matches the things I always envied about the small town Stars Hollow in the show. Churches Holland is home to well over 150 churches. Luckily, Holland excels in this department.

When your parents first drop you off at Hope, it is hard to imagine that you might not want to go back to “home sweet home” next summer. Holland is an enjoyable city to be in from Fall to Spring, but summertime is prime time for this beach town. Most often it is the misconception that campus is dead.
