We strive to educate, inform, and raise awareness surrounding the importance of inclusivity for students, faculty, and staff with unique abilities. The director is also the ADA compliance coordinator for the Goucher College campus.

In this environment, school faculty and staff understand the complexities of managing life with a learning disability. Once a student enters college, however, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, or Section 504, and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) take over. They are also only required to provide “reasonable accommodations.”
