There’s also a large Christmas tree in a plaza area right downtown. The famous Christmas tree downtown!

I love the glistening lake, the picturesque downtown, and of course the campus nestled nearby. During Christmas-time, it’s wonderfully decorated and lit up with glistening lights. Farmers Market A popular walking-distance destination from Hope is the Holland farmers market on 8th Street. I love Holland. almost every day.

Coming back to campus after Thanksgiving may not sound like any fun. However, there is nothing like Christmas music and festive decorations to make the last couple weeks of the semester that much better. Every year Student Congress decorates the Bultman Student Center with everything from a 20-foot tree to poinsettias and lights.

On Sunday of Orientation Weekend, all of the incoming freshmen went to Convocation, a celebration welcoming us into the Hope community. This is applicable throughout all of Hope.
